Children have the choice of a school meal, packed lunch or home dinners. Please ensure that packed lunches are brought to school in a clearly named sandwich box/bag. For health and safety reasons glass bottles are not permitted.
The School meals are provided by EATS. School meals are cooked on the premises and there is a children's cafeteria for children to use. School meals cost £2.30 per day, payable in advance on Mondays. Copies of menus are sent out periodically and a weekly menu is displayed around the school and in each classroom. Meal choices also show on WisePay.
Packed Lunch - Facilities are available for children to eat a packed lunch with a drink. If a child forgets to bring lunch and we cannot contact you, a school dinner will be provided, which you will be required to pay for. The school has advice leaflets for parents on choosing, preparing and storing packed lunches.
Free school meals are available to parents receiving income support or job seeker’s allowance. Please click on the link to apply online. Paper forms are no longer available. Any information you provide will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
Children receiving Free School Meals are not identifiable in school, but if you are entitled to them, it is vital that you register this, as the Government provides additional funding, which is used to support the learning of our pupils. Please see the Pupil Premium page for more information.
