Wild Beach School

We are very proud to have gained 'Wild Beach School' Status.

Our school works in partnership with Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve ,RSPB, Kirkley Forum and CEFAS.  Together we have developed our curriculum to create opportunities for outside learning.

This gives our pupils memorable activities that enable them to use their investigation skills and stimulate creative ideas for extended writing.

We also believe that it is important for all our children to have access to the world class natural habitats on our doorstep, especially the beach!

Wild Beach School Link

We have created a link with two schools on the Northumberland Coast.  Click here to view a special page on this project.

Big Garden Watch

We are working with the RSPB to encourage more wildlife to our grounds and to Kensington Gardens.

If you would like to get involved, you can birdwatch in your own garden or local area too.  For more info including a free pack, visit the RSPB website.

For advice on how to attract more birds to your garden click here.  For an online guide to help identifiy birds click here.

We have been invited by Lowestoft Town Council to help establish a group of volunteers to support the development of the park.  For more information click here.
