This week we celebrated National Odd Sock Day (12th November 2019).
Thank you for coming to school in odd socks to help raise awareness of anti- bullying this week. Our odd socks help us to remember that we are all unique. and special. Together we are reminded how we can build positive relationships with each other.
On Wednesday 6th November, a team of our Year 3 children competed for the school in a Matball tournament at Pakefield High School.
The children were fantastic ambassadors for our school and showed excellent team spirit and competitiveness in all games. The children performed magnificently and made it all the way to the semi finals where they were sadly beaten by Westwood school. Furthermore, the children only narrowly missed out on winning the respect award by only a few points!
I know that I speak for everyone when I offer the most sincere congratulations to our Year 3 matball team! Well done to everyone that took part! Thanks too must be offered to Mrs tucker and Miss Grenville who took the team and supported them throughout the tournament. Mr Cross (PE Lead)
Following on from a special Assembly by the NSPCC, Year 5 and 6 took part in workshops based on the theme: Speak out. Stay Safe. We are now all keen to start raising money to support the NSPCC through our sponsored Dance-a-thon, taking place in school over the week beginning 18.11.19. If your child has not brought home their Sponsor Form, please contact their class teacher. Many thanks for all your support.
