Water, Mills and Marshes Schools Art Competition

Water, Mills and Marshes Schools Art Competition
Start Date: 9 June 2020
End Date: 24th June 2020
Who can take part: Any student from Reception to Year 6. Art work will be judged by year group.

Details: Create a collage of the animals and or plants that live in the dykes of the Broads National Park – it can be a picture of a single animal or the whole habitat the choice is yours.

Materials to Use: Collect a selection of natural materials such as leaves, twigs, flowers, stones, mud, grass from your garden, school or the park and use these to make a collage of “Life in the Dykes”. Be creative with these natural materials – some different ideas and techniques are on the website for you to look at.

Prizes: Kindly donated by RSPB – a Minibeast Explorer Pack and pencil case set. There will be a prize for best art work in each year group. Winners will be announced on the 29th of June.

How to Submit Entries: Please email a photo of your art work to your class teacher.

How the photos will be used: Photos of the artworks will be used to judge the entries and go on our website and other social media channels (so please no photos of the students themselves). No students will be named on our website or social media channels except for the winners. When the winning entries are announced we will then ask for a picture of the student to be sent to us along with parental consent for the image to be used on our website and social media.
