Mental Health Awareness Week 10-16th May 2021

Next week is National Mental Health Awareness Week, and the start of our 21 day challenge. Why 21 days you might ask? Because it takes 21 days to develop a new habit, a new way of thinking, a positive mindset. So we invite you and your family to join us and participate in the challenge. This years theme is #connectwithnature. So in the attached leaflet there are 21 suggestions on how you can do this with your family. Pick and choose activities you can complete over the 21 day period. Perhaps you have more ideas of your own, or you like doing some activities so much that you repeat them several times. Either way let us know how you got on and encourage your child to share their experiences.

If you take pictures and share with us either via the St Mary’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/stmarysrcps or emailing them to office@stmarysrcps.org. We look forward to seeing how you have connected with nature!

Social Stories

Dear Parents and Carers,

In light of the sudden changes due to the spread of coronoavirus, iI would like to share these social stories with you. They may be helpful in explaining our current situation and support you in encouraging your children to wash their hands more frequently.

Kind Regards
Mrs Mann
